Secrecy Report Card from OpenTheGovernment.org
OpenTheGovernment.org has released its 2007
Secrecy Report Card. According to a press release
issued by the organization, the report found
"a troubling lack of transparency in military
procurement, assertions of executive privilege,
and expansion of 'sensitive' categories of
information, among other areas."
OpenTheGovernment.org is a coalition of organizations
and individuals dedicated to reducing secrecy in
government and advancing the public's right to know.
